Full Description
A barbed wire entanglement of Second World War date was seen as a structure in RAF/HLA/407 V 77 28-FEB-1942. It was positioned to the south side of Spitfire Way, forming part of the defences of RAF Manston's western approach. It was recorded as a demolished structure in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
