A probable Roman building was identified through cropmark evidence during a 2021 desk-based assessment at Minster, Thanet. The feature is represented by a "group of closely associated rectilinear cropmarks…[which] may indicate the robbed walls of a building, possibly of Romano-British date" (from the original report, 1).

Enclosures forming part of a settlement of Medieval date were visible as cropmarks in 35365/011 24-JUN-2024. These features bear considerable similarity to other Medieval enclosures on the Isle of Thanet, both excavated and visible as cropmarks, in contrast to authority (1). These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2)
