Cropmark of a probable chalk pit, east of Thorne Farm. Identified during a 2003 desk-based assessment carried out in advance of the East Kent Access Route. (1)

A medieval/post medieval chalk pit is visible as a cropmark on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007. (2)
