A building platform of 20th century date was seen as a structure in RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942. It had formed the base for a latrine block serving workshops of the School of Technical Training, established at RAF Manston in 1920. The superstructure was destroyed by enemy action in 1940.

It was recorded as a demolished structure in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
