Full Description
A football pitch of Second World War date was visible as a cropmark in RAF/HLA/564 V 6020 01-JUN-1942. It was positioned on the airfield just to the south of RAF Manston's main bomb store. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
