Warehouses of 20th century date were visible as structures in RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942. They were recorded as 'Barrack Stores' on a plan of RAF Manston dated 7 April 1930 (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference MFC/78/24/0883) and as 'RAF and USAF Warehouses' on a mid-20th century plan (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference X004/2380).

They were recorded as demolished buildings on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021, apart from the south-westernmost building which was still extant. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
