Full Description

A Second World War embanked feature with multiple depressions or craters within the structure was visible as an earthwork on RAF/HLA/564 V 6016 01-JUN-1942. This site measures 16m x 45m and lies to the north of a defended location, amongst gun emplacements of and weapons pits and is possibly part of the troop training which took place on the site during the war. This was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(1)
