Full Description
A military installation of Second World War date was seen as structures and earthworks in RAF/HLA/407 V 78 28-FEB-1942. It comprised a pillbox and two weapons pits enclosed by a small barbed wire entanglement. There was a bomb crater in the southern part of the enclosed area.
The features were recorded as demolished structures/levelled earthworks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
