Summary
The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheep fold known as Stackmarsh Pounds which was recorded on historic Ordnance Survey maps (1st epoch (1879) - 4th epoch (1938) ). The pound was located in the North Level Marshes where two small creeks meet. The pound comprised a building with a fenced off enclosure. This was site was recorded during the course of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
