Full Description

An enclosure forming part of a settlement of Medieval date was visible as a cropmark in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. It appears to have fronted onto the south-east side of Seamark Road and was probably associated with further Medieval settlement features on the north-west side of the routeway (see for example MKE117172). This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
