Monument record TQ 87 NW 1241 - An incomplete ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow seen as a cropmark
Summary
An incomplete ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow seen as a cropmark and mapped from aerial photographs taken in 2011 part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The ring ditch is incomplete and has a diameter of c.18.5m. Traces to two fragmented parallel linear ditches (also seen as cropmarks) could be seen to cut WSW-ENE through the ring ditch, possibly the remains of a later prehistoic trackway or a linear boundary.
