Monument record TQ 87 NW 1243 - The cropmark traces of a 9m long section of curving ditch
Summary
The cropmark traces of a 9m long section of curving ditch seen as a cropmark which may be part of a former ring ditch, possibly a Bronze Age round barrow. This feature was mapped from aerial photographs taken in 2011 as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The ditch lies 70m to the south-west of a more complete ring ditch (NMR Monument Number 1544873) and linear ditches and rectilinear enclosures of uncertain date.
