Full Description
Cropmarks of part of a rectilinear enclosure mapped from aerial photographs:CUCAP BTG84 26-JUN-1975 and NMR 1661/297 16-JUL-1979 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The site appears as two sides and a single corner of a rectilinear enclosure, possibly a settlement enclosure of Iron Age, Roman or medieval date. The SW side can be traced for 34m and the eastern side for 12m. A short spur of ditch extends eastwards from this shorter side. Other ditches and enclosures to the south and south-west appear to lie on the same alignment and may be associated.(1-2)
