Full Description
Cropmark of a probable post medieval extractive pit identified from aerial photographs:Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 and EARTH.GOOGLE.COM MAY-2007 ACCESSED 08-NOV-2023, and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The pit appears to cut into the side ditch of one of a line of medieval settlement enclosures which line the eastern side of the Manston Road north of Vincent Farm (TR36NW133).(1-2)
