Probable post medieval stock watering pond within Shornemead Marshes. The pond appears as an elongated water-filled pond with up-cast material forming two parallel banks on the northern and southern sides. This is a form of pond seen at several locations in the marshes of the Hoo Peninsula. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
