Full Description
The cropmark traces of a double-ditched ring ditch, remains of a probable Bronze Age round barrow. This is one of a group of eight ring ditches in a linear (W-E) cemetery which have been mapped from aerial photographs: EARTH.GOOGLE.COM JUN-2013. ACCESSED 03-MAY-2024 and HEA 29844/50 20-APR-2016 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. This site is a ring ditch with a diameter of 36m and an inner circuit of at least 26.5m in diameter. This site lies in the middle of the group of barrows which is aligned W-E to the north of the A299.(1-2)
