Full Description
The cropmark traces of a single ring ditch, remains of a probable Bronze Age round barrow. This is one of a group of eight ring ditches in a linear (W-E) cemetery which have been mapped from aerial photographs: EARTH.GOOGLE.COM JUN-2013. ACCESSED 03-MAY-2024, Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015 and HEA 29844/50 20-APR-2016 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. This site has a diameter of 19.5mand contains two possible pits, probably not associated with the barrow. This site lies at the southern side of the group of barrows which is aligned W-E to the north of the A299. (1-3)
