Summary
A single ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow seen as a cropmark. The ring ditch measures 13.5m in diameter. This is one of a group of nine ring ditches ranging in size from 10m to 20m in diameter. This barrow cemetery was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. Amongst the barrows the faint traces of a large rectilinear enclosure was also recorded. All the ring ditches and the rectilinear enclosure have been recorded in individual NMR Monument records.
