Preservation:Pond on historic maps but not visible on current OS (ghost pond)
Pond shape:Irregular
Site type: Former extractive pit (e.g chalk, clay, gravel)
Description: Teardrop shaped pond seen on 1st and 2nd edition OS. Was filled in after 1946. Geology here is only chalk, so assume this was an extractive pit. Very faint on 1m Lidar.
