Dew pond (or sole pond), visible on 1st and 2nd edition OS map. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.

Site type: Dew pond (or sole pond)
Description: Dew pond at Jacket's Field, close to Kings Wood. A Neolithic long barrow is located not far away in Kings Wood to the south. Pond is circular and holds water. Has held Crassula, but also water crowfoot.
