Dew pond (or sole pond), visible on 1st and 2nd edition OS map. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.
Preservation:Pond on historic maps but not visible on current OS (ghost pond)

Site type: Dew pond (or sole pond)
Description: Rectangular pond at the T-junction of Coalpit Lane. Close to Torry Hill Farm. There used to be another opposite but this disappeared after 1st edition OS. This one seen on 1st and 2nd ed, faint on 1m Lidar.
