Former extractive pit (e.g chalk, clay, gravel), visible on 1st and 2nd edition OS map. Recorded during 2024 Kent Downs National Landscape Historic Ponds project.

Description: Only a small part of this pond still exists on modern OS, now within a woodland copse. Original pond much larger and T shaped along the field boundary. Very dark on 1m LIDAR.
