Monument record TQ 56 NE 244 - Mesolithic-Early Neolithic Occupation

Summary

Evidence of burning and worked flint from within Trench 14. Buried Palaeosoils observed in Trench 14, located at a depth of 62.4m OD.The charcoal deposit contained degraded pottery and worked flint. Residual worked flints were excavated from a further 17 trenches across the site, however these dated to Neolithic/Bronze Age.
