Full Description
An undated probable quarry pit (over 0.96m in depth) was excavated at The Old Forge, Island Road, Sturry during an evaluation in 2016. There are no known quarries within the site boundary, however, this feature is thought either to have been too minor to be depicted on mapping, or to predate mapping of the area. (1)
