Full Description
The former Police Station in Middle Row, Faversham as shown on the 1st Edition O/S map as the Goal and on the 2nd Edition as the Police Station. It was built in 1813 and was designed to serve as a Police Station. It consisted of stone built walls on the ground floor with 2 cells and an exercise yard to the rear. The upper floors were used as accomodation for the goaler and his family. The building is now used for commercial purposes as shown on the current O/S map.
