Full Description
A linear feature around 400m in length was identified at Iffin Meadow Farm, Chartham during a watching brief in 2021. The feature was aligned SW-NE and has been interpreted as a possible lynchet, or alternatively as a trackway linked with a hollow way which was associated with the medieval manor (TR 15 SW 6) to the south. However, the lack of dating evidence means that the feature could have been created before this time or during the post-medieval period. (1)
