Full Description
A 'motely stalk' anti-aircraft position still exists at Detling Airfield. It is located on the roof of a type 22 LAA Variant pillbox at the entrance to the industrial estate. A 2024 survey described as "Concrete construction, tube or cylinder. In fair condition from what could be observed from a distance as unable to get up close due to heavy undergrowth. " (1)
