Full Description

Anti-invasion defences in the form of posts laid out in a grid through open fields to the north of Cliffsend (centred on TR 3490 6521) visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941 and 1942. The posts were designed to impede landing of aircraft in fields over a certain size. The network of posts is hard to discern, but further elements have been noted to the north-west of Ramsgate. (1)
