Full Description

TQ 676523. Neolithic polished flint axe found at Sandbanks, Nettlestead. Given to Maidstone Museum by Mr. F. Millen. (Acc. No. 18/1961). (1) In Maidstone Museum (Acc. No. 18/1961) is a Neolithic polished flint axe found in a field at TQ 67635159 in May 1961, by Mr. F. Millen and donated by him to the Museum. (Note the NGR for this findspot given in (1) is acknowledged to be incorrect). (2)
