Full Description

Second World War coastal defences in the form of four parallel lines of barbed wire at South Cliff (TR 3972 6681) 15m deep and extending 28m from the cliff edge into Western Esplande. These defences were mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project RAF from aerial photographs taken in 1942. Removed immediately after the war.(1)
