Full Description

A Second World War pillbox surrounded by barbed wire at TR 3911 6698 placed to the east of the railway line adjacent to the site of St Hereson School. The pillbox is part of a series of defensive works forming a defended location (NRHE 1618357). This was mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project aerial photographs taken in 1946.(1)
