Full Description
A Second World War gun emplacement located at TR 3792 6743 in the NE corner of Ramsgate Airfield landing ground which was visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941.It appeared as a single gun pit c.5m in diameter surrounded by earthern or sand bag defences, open to the NW. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (1)
