Full Description
A length of Second World War zig-zag trenching located at TR 3765 6766 within the NW corner of Ramsgate Airfield visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. The trench is aligned NE-SW appears to be in two sections, one of 25m and a secon of 5m in length. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. This may be the site of a Light flak machine gun post cited by the Kent HER (TR 36 NE 218) taken from a German Map of Defences. (1, 2)
