Full Description

Second World War barbed wire obstructions extending from the western corner of the harbour wall along a short sea wall to Paragon Promenade where it curved sharply NE along the seaward edge of the promenade. This area is now infilled and occupied by buildings . This was visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941 and was mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project.(1)
