Full Description
The site of Second World War anti invasion defences - Dragon's Teeth - centred at TR 3852 6476 blocking the access to Harbour Parade from the slipway and the inner lagoon of Ramsgate Harbour which were visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942. There is a gap between the eastern end of the defences and the buildings affording access to the harbour between two possible pillboxes or guard posts at TR 3856 6476. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project.(1)
