Full Description
A possible Second World War coastal gun battery at TR 3860 6486 adjacent to the harbour lift house on Madeira Walk visible as a low polygonal flat roofed building with traces of trenching extending to the NE which could be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1941. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project(1)
