Full Description

A possible Second World War gun emplacement in former playing fields at TR 3745 6449 north of London Road visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941.The playing fields have now been largely built on, but the western half was occupied by a Chain Home Low intallation during the war (recorded separately). These features were mapped as part of the Historic England: Ramsgate HAZ project. (1)
