A Second World War gun emplacement, part of the coast defences between Cliffsend and Ramsgate located at TR 3514 6435 on the beachward side of the Sandwich Road behind the layers of barbed wire and trenches protecting the beach of Pegwell Bay which are visible on aerial photographs.(1)
