Full Description

Rectangular and sub-rectangular pits dug into clay outcrops were located in trenches to the NW and the SE. These features were post-medieval in date and likely related to clay quarrying for brickmaking during the late post-medieval period.
A series of bedding deposits, wall foundations, and two wells associated with now demolished Victorian properties were also identified across the site during the evaluation. (1)
