Full Description

Elements of a post-medieval farm building were identified during a 2024 watching brief at Mockbeggar Farm, Canterbury. These comprised two walls which were seen to correspond to a building visible on the 1897 OS map. Material from the demolition of the structure was associated with the two walls, which likely formed part of an outbuilding associated with the post-medieval farmstead (MKE87650). Features associated with later or contemporary activity at the farmstead included a pit and several post-holes. (1)
