Full Description
A cluster of 6 possible Second World War gun emplacements or other defensive structures located at TR 3589 6461and visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941.The features comprise six possible circular gun pits most likely constructed using sandbags or perhaps reinforced that together form a pyramid-like shaped layout. A separate similar possible gun pit was located to the north adjacent to a complex slit trench. These features form part of the complex anti-invasion defences along the coast. (1)
