Post-medieval gravel pits are visible on the 2nd edition (1897-1900) and 3rd edition (1907-1923) OS maps, Newington, Swale. Evidence for quarrying was identified during an evaluation and watching brief carried out at the site in 2019.

Post-medieval gravel pits are visible on the 2nd edition (1897-1900) and 3rd edition (1907-1923) OS maps, Newington, Swale. Evidence for quarrying was identified during an evaluation and watching brief carried out at the site in 2019. (1, 2, 3)
