Full Description
A Second World War observation post is visible as a building on aerial photographs taken in 1945, though it has been demolished on aerial photograph taken in 1966. The observation post is L shaped, and is centred on TR 2386 3637. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (1-2).
It is possible this is a duplicate record of the site 20m to the south. The National Record of the Historic Environment records both.
