Full Description

The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheep fold recorded on historic OS maps (1st epoch (1879)) at TQ 7205 7689. The map sources depict a single small building within a fenced off area between two low-lying fields in the former marsh. The sheep fold does not appear on subsequent OS maps.

The location of the sheep fold and surrounding area has been destroyed through extensive clay quarrying for the local cement industry in the early to mid 20th century. (1)
