The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheep fold recorded at TQ 7265 7737 on historic OS maps of first, second and third epoch (1879-1908). It is no longer depicted on the fourth epoch OS map of 1939. The map sources depict at least one enclosed building located at the junction of three drainage ditches with access to three adjacent fields within the low-lying marsh. The location of the site and surrounding marsh has since been destroyed through clay quarrying for the local cement industry.(3-6)
