The Invicta Cinema opened on 19th November 1919. It was closed in 1945, due to German bomb damage. Taken over by Oliver Ward, it was repaired and re-opened as the Wardona Cinema in January 1947. It was closed on 26th January 1958. Since demolished. The building is visible on the 4th (1929-1952)ed OS map.
