A possible Second World War air raid shelter is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The site is centred on TR 29364 39235 and comprises a sub rectangular bank which measures 39 metres long by 9 metres wide. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (1-2).
