The earthworks of a possible post medieval or early 20th century pond can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This rectangular pond, since levelled, is first depicted on the 1908 Ordnance Survey map and was situated to the west of Egypt Bay. The pond was fed by a channel and the shallow earthworks of this can also be seen as well as spoil heaps associated with the pond and the channel. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The earthworks of a possible post medieval or early 20th century pond can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This rectangular pond, since levelled, is first depicted on the 1908 Ordnance Survey map and was situated to the west of Egypt Bay at TQ 7660 7933. The pond was fed by a channel and the shallow earthworks of this can also be seen as well as spoil heaps associated with the pond and the channel. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
