Full Description
A post medieval sheepfold is depicted on the 1894 Ordnance Survey map in Cooling Marshes, centred on TQ 7647 7735. The 1897 edition map shows the same arrangement of structures but also marks the site sheep wash. Some remains of the site are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 but noting can be seen in 2007. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (1-3)
