Full Description
A post medieval sheepfold is depicted on the 1894 Ordnance Survey map on the south western side of the junction of three drains on Halstow Marshes centred on TQ 7752 7846. The 1897 edition map shows this sheepfold removed, replace by one on the north western side of the same junction of three drains at TQ 7752 7847. A possible building can be seen at this location on aerial photographs taken in 1947 but the site has since been demolished. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-4)
